Last year we kicked off our studio in AV Huis, Breda. We rented a small office and made it our home for the past six months. It was a fun place to work from and even with a scrum team of six people we had great fun, but we soon found out that we wanted sometime more unique. We started looking for a place that in itself would show what we stand for: respect and understanding of the past while looking towards new opportunities and the future. And we found it!
In May 2014 we will move into a new location in the center of Breda. It is a building from the 17th century which housed the sacristan of the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe church, including a safe for the church silver. The outside is very classy, while the inside will be a balance between the old characteristics of the building and modern improvements. We are going to make it our new HQ, including space to relax, tinker and scrum. And if you are ever in the neighbourhood you are welcome to enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea with us.
But until May we will be digital nomads and work on several spots, including a few desks that our friends of e-sites made available for us until our office is ready.
